You may assume that LQA is part of the translation, editing, and proofreading process, but it\u2019s actually a separate step.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While translators, editors, and proofreaders <em>transform<\/em> video game text from one language to another, LQA testers ensure the translated content performs well in the game. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LQA is a complex undertaking that involves three main areas: <a href=\"https:\/\/terralocalizations.com\/services\/linguistic-qa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Linguistic Quality Assurance<\/a>, Visual Quality Assurance, and Functional Quality Assurance. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Linguistic Quality Assurance&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This involves checking the translated content for purely linguistic errors. Specifically, LQA testers pay attention to:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fonts:<\/strong> These need to be compatible with the screen size.
